Jumper Review
By: Michael Lee
Starring: Hayden Christensen, Jamie Bell, Samuel L. Jackson
Year: 2008
It Seems Hayden Christensen Will Do anything To Put His Role As Anikin Skywalker Behind Him. Case In Point: Jumper. This Movie Has A Super Hero Feel To It, But It Doesn't Really Play On It. Hayden's Character Has The Ability To Teleport, Or Jump, Anywhere He Wants To. Jamie Bell (Who I Loved In "The Chumscrubber") Plays Another Jumper, And Both Character's Are Being Hunted By A White-Haired Samuel L. Jackson And His Groupies, Which Are Called Paladins. Jamie Bell's Character Was My Favorite, And I Found Him Very Interesting. I Did Not, However, Find Hayden's Character Interesting, Despite The Ability To Teleport, And He Did Not Bring Any Life To Him. I Felt Samuel L. Jackson's Character... Well, I Can't Really Describe How I Felt About Him. Sometimes I Liked Him, Others I Felt He Was Out Of Place. This Movie Was Filled With Plot Holes And The Pacing Seemed Rushed. I Was Really Looking Forward To Watching Jumper, But In The End, I Felt Is Was Nothing Special And Easily Forgotten.
