Pineapple Express Review
By: Chris Akins
Starring: Seth Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride
Year: 2008
Judd Apatow has done it again. Pineapple Express is by far the best film in his series of titles such as Knocked Up and Superbad. It's mix of smart comedy and equally hilarious action sequences surpass that of any movie that calls itself an action/comedy. The semi-homo relationship between all the characters and the over-elaborate death scenes are just brilliant. Most people talk about it being just some stoner movie, but if you look past that, it's so much more. Seth Rogen reprises his role as the exact same character as all his other movies, but it doesn't matter because that character is great. Also, the redneck character Red is so funny in his stupidity and bipolar attitude, you don't even care that he never dies when any normal human would. So bottom line, this movie is great. 9/10 And I can't wait to see the next movie by the gang. Word on the street is it's Anchorman 2!

9 out of 10 Nerdism Nerds.
