Forgetting Sarah Marshall Review

By: Michael Lee

Starring: Russell Brand, Kristen Bell, Jason Segal
Year:
2008

I Loved "Freaks And Geeks" A Television Show Produced By Judd Apatow And Starred Jason Segal, Martin Starr, And Seth Rogan (Which Are Three Regulars In The Series Of On-Going Judd Apatow Produced Movies) I Have Seen Every Episode And I Can Honestly Say I Have Seen Nothing Like It On Television... Well Besides HBO And CINEMAX And The Not So Basic Cabel Channels. I Constantly Refer To It As Peers On Weed. Over The Corse Of The Series, Jason Segal Easily Became One Of My Favorite Characters (Probably Because I Could Identify To His Love Life.) I'm Kind Of Disappointed However, To Say This Isn't That Funny Of A Movie, And Jason Segal Could Have Been SO Much Better. This Movie Is Nothing Like "Superbad" Or "Knocked Up" Or Even "The 40-Year-Old Virgin". There Is No Drugs and Its Not Really As Raunchy (Though You Do Get To See Mila Kunis' Tits) Russell Brand Is The Best Character In The Movie And If You Pick Up The Dvd Make Sure You Check The Special Features To See His Hilarious Music Video. Other Than That and The Pathetic Depression Of Jason Segal's Character, I Was Going to Say It Would Be A Better Labeled As A Drama, But I Would Be Wrong... Romantic Comedy Might Be Better Suited. I've Heard Many Reviews That Said This Was An Outstanding Comedy, I Wouldn't Go That Far, I Mean It Has It's Moments But You'll Be Better Off Re-watching "Knocked Up"
