Step Brothers Review

By: Michael Lee

Starring: John C. Reilly, Will Ferrell, Adam Scott
Year:
2008

Don't Lose Your Dinosaur. That's The Moral Of This Movie. You'll Just Have To Watch It To Understand. I Thought Step Brothers Was Better Than "Anchorman" But Not As Good as "Talledega Nights", And You Can Tell John C. Reilly And Will Ferrell's Relationship Has Grown Since Then. The Movie Was Relentless On Jokes. One After Another, And The Great Part Was, They Were All Funny. Only John C. Reilly And Will Ferrell Could Play 40-Year-Old Men Acting Like 12-Year-Old Boys And Not Make It... Odd. Their On-Again Off-Again Relationship Was Delightful And It Provided Most Of The Comedy. Unlike Semi-Pro, This Movie Was Filled With Great One-Liners, But Most Of Them Are Too Dirty To Post Here. Step Brothers Was Produced By Judd Apatow And Seth Rogen Makes A Cameo In One Hilarious Scene (It Involves Toilet Humor, Which I Normally Think Is The Cheapest Type Of Humor, But It Was Played Off Well). The End Was Very Surprising And Gave The Moive A Complete Feeling. The Final Words Are Great, And It Had Me Laughing Well Into The Credits. In Fact, The End Boosted This Movie Up A Star When I Rated It. If Your A Will Ferrell Fan, You'll Fall In Love With This Movie (Though It Is A Little More Intense Than Other Ferrell Movies)
