Transformers Is A Mash-Up Of Great Humor, Great CGI, and Great Action Sequences. Not To Mention Megan Fox. The Story However... Eh. That's Not A Bad Thing! The First Time I Saw Transformers I Had No Freakin' Idea What Was Going On, and You Know What, I Still Enjoyed It. Now There Was A Couple Of Flaws (Optimus Prime Saying "My Bad". Ick.) So First Let's talk About The Music. This Movie Had A Great Soundtrack. If You Listen Closely, You Can Hear The Used, Linkin Park, And Smashing Pumpkins. How Could A Movie With Such Great Music Be Bad? It Can't. The Visuals Are Awesome As Well. The Transformer's Really Look... Well, Real. That's Something You Don't Normally See In A Movie Staring CGI Characters ("Scooby-Doo", "The Hulk"). The Action Sequences Rock And The Settings Are Beautiful Too. You Get To See The Desserts Of Iraq, The Hoover Dam, And Even The Artic. It's Really Cool. Now The Characters. I've Already Said That Shia Lebeouf Is One Of My Favorite Actors. He's Just As Good In This As He Was In Disturbia, He Really Brings The Character Of Sam Witwiky To Life. Now the Funny Part About Sam Is, He's A Kid That Anyone Could Relate To, And He Still Keeps That Character Trait Once He's Placed Right In The Middle Of This Galatic War Between The Autobots And Decepticons (I Just Realized I Hadn't Given A Plot Synopsis, So I Had To Throw That In). And Megan Fox's Character, Well, I Don't Know Why She's Even In This Movie, Besides You Know, For Eye Candy. She Doesn't Add Anything To The Plot Really, But Thanks To This Movie, I Now Know Who She Is, And She's Already Taken Number 2 Spot On My Hottest Celeb Babes List (Jessica Alba Is Numeral Uno). So Lastly, The Humor In The Movie Is Excellent. There Are Many Great One Liners, And A Couple Of Great Sequences (Look For One Involving A Porche Dealership and Another At A Police Station Involing One Seriously Issued Cop) Overall, This Movie Is The Definition Of A Summer Blockbuster, Loud, Funny, And Action-Packed. For Once, I'm Proud Of Michael Bay And I Can't Wait For The Sequel, Due Out In June 2009 (Rumor Has It, There Will Be An Ice Cream Truck Transformer!). Ps: If You Liked This Movie, There Is A chance You'll Like The 1986 Animated Transformers Movie. It Too Has A Great Soundtrack And Is Probably One Of My Favorite Animated Movies. You Should At Least Watch It To Watch Optimus Prime Die (The Original Time).
