Where Do I Begin With "Watchmen"? Well, It's A Very Good Movie. But I Don't Know If You'll Enjoy It More If You Have Read The Book Or Not. If You Havn't, You'll Probably Be Extremely Confused By The Plot. If You Have Read The Book, You're Obviously Going To Try To Pick Out Things That They Left Out Of The Book, Which Is More Than Likely Going To Stop You From Enjoying The Movie. I, Personally, Have Read The Book, And Though It Didn't Distract Me, I Felt As If I Had Seen The Movie Already, And Started Picking Out Things They Did Different. The Highlight Of The Movie, To Me, Is The Opening Scene, Played To The Bob Dylan Tune "The Times, They Are A-Changin'". It Is Amazing, And Explains The Movie's Alternate Universe So Perfectly. The Soundtrack To "The Watchmen" Pulls Songs Straight Out Of The Book (Normally A Verse From A Bob Dylan Or Elvis Costello Or Any Other Old School Rocker Book Ends The Chapters). One Problem I Had WithThe Movie Was The Casting. The Guys Who Played Nite Owl, The Comedian, And Rorschach Were Perfect, And Dr. Manhatten Was Pretty Good. The Silk Babe Er... Spectre Was Pretty Hot,So I Didn't Mind If Her Character In The Movie Seemed A Little Off The One In The Book. But What They Did to Ozymandias Was Horrible. He Felt Like A Bad James Bond Villian Rather Than The Smartest Man On Earth. I Had Already Stated I Felt As If I Had Seen This Movie Before, And That's Because Zack Synder Followed The Book Just About As Perfect As It Could Be, Giant Alien Squids Aside.
