When I first heard of Zombie Strippers, I was so enthused I could barely talk about anything else for weeks. I instantly ran to my computer and saved it to my Netflix queue, eagerly anticipating it's release. Well when it finally came out on DVD, I watched it instantly. I must say, this was an extreme disappointment. Possibly the biggest movie disappointment of my short movie-filled life. I wasn't expecting it to be good, not at all, but I thought it would at least be entertaining, and when you combine zombies and strippers, how could you lose? Now there has been many movies to disappoint me, such as "The Godfather" but that disappointed me because I heard so many excellent things about the film, but it actually bored me. I'm not dissing the film, it's fine I suppose, but it's not my type of movie. Then there are disappointments like "Adventureland". Saying its a disappointment is actually untrue, it's actually a fantastic and entertaining movie, but Chris saw it before me and praised it as the best comedy he's ever seen ("Shaun of the Dead" excluded). when I went to see it, it was extremely good, but it wasn't the best comedy I've ever seen. It left me a tad unsatisfied. Only a tad, for I still recommend it to everyone. But Zombie Strippers wasn't good or entertaining and it should have been my type of movie! Sadly, it failed most heinously.
The best I remember it starts out in a laboratory and a guy is bitten by a zombie, and he winds up in a strip club where he bites a butt naked Jenna Jameson. Then some sorta story happens and there is a hint of plot here and there. I don't really know, it was a mess. All I know is it had both boobs and zombies and still failed to be anything decent. I've seen parts of "Left 4 Head" (a zombie filled porn) and it was better than this crap. Even the great horror icon Robert Englund couldn't help this movie out.
I wish I could write more, since I hate short movie reviews, but there was barely anything memorable about this movie. Zombie Strippers is to the zombie comedy genre as what "Pearl Harbor" is to the war movie genre: a movie you wish would just go away so someone else could think of it and do it better
