Last year I discovered a gift I possesed. The gift of incredibly useless and nerdy knowledge. Well, a few days ago I decided all this
knowledge would come in handy if I ever wanted to write an editorial about useless yet nerdy facts. Then it donned on me. I should write that article! And so I did. All this info is from my brain. I didn't research any of this while writing the article, it's all facts I learned prior.
Therefore some of this info stands a chance at being incorrect. However, if you claim any of this info incorrect, I would like you to know
that you, in fact, are wrong and should just shut up. So I present you with 50 really nerdy facts I know off the top of my head:

 

1) Every pokemon can learn the move Swagger
2) Batman keeps a marble in his utiliy belt to simulate the sound of someone walking when he drops it down stairs
3) There are 256 levels in the original Pac-man arcade game, but the 256th level glitches and the entire right side of the game becomes text shortly after the level has started
4) Wheeljack was the first Transformer to ever speak in the iconic cartoon.
5) "Army of Darkness" was originally to be called "Medieval Dead", which I actually prefer more.
6) Parker Lewis only lost once. Ever.
7) Chewbacca has a son named Lumpy and a wife named Malla
8) Bender from "Futurama" was named after Judd Nelson's character in "The Breakfast Club"
9) Freddy Kruger's blood is green.
10) Jefferson Starship was in the Star Wars Christmas Special
11) Pink kryptonite turns Superman gay
12) Wolverine from "The X-men" was supposed to be a wolverine who mutated into a human... Thank god that idea was scrapped.
13) Saturn's moon Mimas looks just like the Death Star
14) According to the comic adaptation of the live action Transformers movie, at the end credits, when Starscream is flying into space, he has a kidnapped human being exploding inside his cockpit
15) Captain America was not an original memeber of the Avengers
16) Jessica Alba's bra size is 34B (this is more awesome knowledge than it is nerdy)
17) All of the clocks in the movie "Pulp Fiction" are stuck on 4:20.
18) In "Night Of The Living Dead", the original modern zombie movie, the epidemic started in the southeastern United State, arguably in or around North Carolina.
19) Alfred Hitchcock was afraid of eggs
20) R2-D2 makes a cameo appearance in both the 2009 films "Star Trek" and "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen"
21) Super Mario has appeared in over 200 video games so far
22) In "Back to the Future", Marty departs to the past from the Twin Pines Mall. When he arrives in 1955, he accidentally hits a pine tree, and when he returns to the present the mall has been renamed the Lone Pine Mall.
23) Jason Voorhees doesn't get his trademark hockey mask until the 3rd "Friday the 13th" movie.
24) Superman originally could not fly in the comics.
25) The band Fall Out Boy took their name from a comic book character featured in "The Simpsons"
26) Marvel Comics actually came up with the Transformer names Optimus Prime and Megatron, as the comic book was the first form of Transformers media
27) Jar Jar Binks can be found frozen in carbonite in a trophey room in the video game: "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed". George Lucas really does have a heart.
28) In the "Watchmen" movie, there are numerous times that the Twin Towers stands out in the background (as this is set in an alternate 1980s). Most noticeably, you can see the World Trade Center after the explosion goes off in New York. In the destroyed ruins of the city, we see they are still standing. Ironic huh?
29) There are seven forms of lightsaber combat
30) The Spider-man villain Venom was originally supposed to be a woman
31) Rambo only kills one cop in his first movie "First Blood"
32) Marvel Comics once owned the rights to the word "zombie"
33) Optimus Prime enjoys playing basketball
34) Optimus Prime does not enjoy M&Ms however.... Actually, he really f*cking hates them.
35) Thanks to affermative action, Hawkeye was kicked out of the Avengers and replaced with Falcon
36) According to Bruce Campbell's autobiography, in the 30s, an actual murder took place in the cabin "The Evil Dead" was later filmed in.
37) November 5, 1955 was the day time travel was invented in "Back to the Future"
38) Inside the Well of Souls, C-3PO and R2-D2 are on the wall of Egyptian hieroglyphics in "Raiders of the Lost Ark"
39) The word "zombie" is never said in "Night of the Living Dead"
40) The 80's G.I. Joe cartoon is nearly a word-for-word rip-off of an unpublished Nick Fury Jr. comic book. They just changed "Hydra" to "Cobra" and "Nick Fury Jr." to "Duke" and the rest was 80s history
41) The first pokemon created was Poliwag
42) Author of the books "The Fasntastic Mr. Fox" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", Roald Dahl also wrote the screenplay for the fifth James Bond film.
43) A red lightsaber can cut through a green or blue lightsaber if the conditions are right
44) Batman has lead weights attached to the bottom of his cape to prevent it from blowing up into his face
45) Batman also has razor blades attached to the bottom of his cape in case he needs to cut a bitch
46) Super Mario was originally a carpenter
47) Spike says "Oh sh*t!" in the 1986 animated Transformers movie. This pissed off quite a few parents.
48) Michael Jackson came close to buying/owning Marvel Comics in 1989
49) George Lucas wanted to be a racecar driver when he grew up, which probably explains pod-racing
50) You can never find the lego peice you are looking for even though you seen it 15 f*cking times before you needed it!!!
