Scanners Was A Cheap Little Horror Movie Made Back In The '80s That Had Probably One Of the Best Known Death Scenes In Horror Movie History. It Has Been Mentioned In Everything From Wayne's World To Tommy Boy To Family Guy. I Would Rank It Higher, But It Has Lost It's Pizzazz As Many Times as It's Been Featured In Pop Culture. But Check Out That Pre-cgi Gore!
19. GRIND HOUSE: DEATH PROOF- CAR WRECK
Out Of The Two Grind House Movies, "Death Proof" Is My Least Favorite. How Could It Stand Up To A Zombie Infested Apocalypse, That Stars Bruce Willis And A Stripper With A Machine Gun Leg? I'll Tell You How. Besides this Totally Raddtastic Death Crash And Numerous References To The Who, "Planet Terror" Cut Out It's Sex Scene, While "Death Proof" Keeps It's Lap Dance And Hot Bebes Dressed As Cheerleaders In Tact For All To Enjoy!
18. MANIAC- SHOT TO THE FACE
Fantastic Depiction Of a Head Shot With A Shot Gun. And To Think, Saw 3 Came Out 23 Years After This, And It Still Couldn't Get A Shotgun To The Face Scene Right.
17. DEEP BLUE SEA- I'M TIRED OF THESE MUTHA F*CKING SHARKS EATING MY MUTHA F*CKING ASS

Amy Smart Is Hot! Majorly. But Instead Of Paying attenion To Her Butt In This Scene (Hard To Do, I Know) Pay Attention To the Mirror... If You Dare. (Dare Because It's A Good Scene)

Love It Or Hate It, There IS No Denying the "Saw" Movies Are One Of the Most Original Ideas To Have Come Out Of Any Movie Studio In Ages. The Rack Trap, Though Not My Favorite Trap (That Belongs To The Razor Wire Maze), Is Deffiently One Of the Most Horrific. I Know For A Fact I Would Not Be Able To Survive This.
14. JAWS- GETTING EATEN ALIVE
Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Go Back Into The Water... This Scene Scared The Bejubus Outta Me As A Kid. Through It's Bone Snapping, Blood Squirting Goodness, This Scene (And The Movie In General) Proves That Spielberg Can Direct One Heckova Horror Film

Of Corse, There Is One Scene Of Somebody Getting Eaten That IS Even More Radd. I'm Of Corse Talking About The Scene In The Sci-fi Channel Movie, "Abominable". Watch For Yourself!
12. JACK FROST- RAPED BY A SNOWMAN
It Seems Shannon Elizabeth Can't Keep Her Clothes On No Matter What Movie She's In (Not That I'm Complaining *wink* *wink*) this Is One Of Her First Movie Roles, And It's Nothing But Her Getting Raped By A Serial Killer Trapped In A Snowman's Body (That Carrot Is Used For More Than Just decoration If You Catch My Drift)
11. CLOVERFIELD- POOR HUD
This Death Scene Is Fantastic! Unless You Have Been Living Under a Rock For The Past Year, I'm sure You've Heard Of "Cloverfield", Ya Know, It Has That Insane Looking Trailer That Shows New York Being Ripped To Shreads, But It's Won't Show You What's Doing It. Yeah, the Movie Is Kinda Like That Too. Through Out The Whole Feature, You Catch Little Glimpses Of The Monster's Tail Or Legs, You See What He's Capable Of, And You Also See His Little Head Lice. Well, When It's For Him to Make His Close Up, Boy Does He, By Eating The Most Beloved Character In The Movie!
10. MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE- STEAMROLLER
"Maximum Overdrive" Is A Pretty Bad Stephen King Movie About Machines Who Try To Take Over The World. But Just Because the Movie Was Bad, Dosent Mean It Can't Have Some Pretty Radd Death Scenes In It. Bonus Points For Killing A Kid.
9. GHOST SHIP- CUT IN HALF
I Remember Watching This As A Child at My Little Cousins House. He Was About 5, I Was About 9. Didn't Scare Him A Bit, Freaked Me the F*** Out! I Don't Know Why, It's Just this One Scene That Does It To Me, Now that I'm Older I Watch It And Think "Cool Yo." But Dagnabbit If You'll Ever See Me On A Cruise.
8. DAIRY OF THE DEAD- SPLITTING HEADACHE.
So I Know I Said I Wouldn't Post Any More Than One death Seen form a Series Of Movies ( this Will Make More Sense When you Get To The "Day Of The Dead" Scenes) But I Don't even Consider "Diary Of The Dead" Part Of The Romaro Trilogy. However, This Is One Kick A** scene Involving a Deaf Amish Farmer Named Samuel.
7. THE MIST- I'M SPEECHLESS
The Ending To The Mist Is Quite Controversial. Many Felt It Was Ridiculous. Others Felt It Was A Chilling Ending To a Chilling Tale. I Agree With The Latter. The Stephen King Book That The Movie Was Based On Just Has Our Group Of Heroes Drive Into The Mist, Leaving their Fate To Your Imagination. However, The Movie Did One Better, And Let MeSay It Let Me Speechless
6. FEAST- DEATH OF A HERO
Feast Is An Odd Little Movie. At The Beginning It Establishes The Characters By Giving Their Names, Jobs, and Life Expectancy Rate. This One Scene F***s Up Everything You Learned About Them, And Does So By Putting Sam Jackson's "Deep Blue Sea" Speech To Shame.
5. MEET JOE BLACK- SIDESWIPED AND SOMERSAULTS
Ok, So Technically, This Isn't A Horror Movie, But It Features The Grim reaper and Death Alot So It Involves Horror Themes. Besides, The Longer I Sit Here Typing Words For You To Read, The Less Time You Have To Watch This Totally Awesome Clip!
4. FINAL DESTINATION 2- CAR PILEUP
There IS Only One Car Crash Scene Better Than The One In "Death Proof" And That Is Totally The One In "FD2"! The "Final Destination" Series Builds Up On Suspense Before It Kills You, And That, To Me Makes The Perfect Horror Movie. Congrats, "FD2".

1. DAY OF THE DEAD- CAPTAIN RHODES GETS RIPPED IN HALF
The "Day Of The Dead" Is The Most Underrated Of All The "Dead" Movies. I Like It Even More Than "Dawn", Because "DOTD" Is What The World Will Look Like After A Zombie Apocalypse: Humans Forced Underground, Trying To adapt To A World Overtaken By Zombies. Bub Is A Great Zombie Character, Especially Since He Has A Mind Of His Own. And His Actions At The End Of The Movie Make Him As Much Of A Hero As The Main Protagonists. The Scene Where Captain Rhodes Is Ripped In Half Deserves The #1 Death Scene
